Going all In into learning Internet Marketing

Hi all,

After reading, it is time to go all in and really learned about internet marketing, because it appears to be a wealth skill.

I would love feedback on where I can start learning the basics first. Learn, Do and Repeat. Desire to learn.

    Searching this forum is a good start. Youtube is very helpful also. What section about internet marketing do you want to delve into. There's alot to learn, but you don't have to necessarily know everything. There's a channel on Youtube called Income School that's really helpful for beginners.

    I mean, looking into doing social media to gain followers and sales. I started my eBay last year by reading this forum, starting from zero, With hard work and doing videos on my product, description, keyword, and looking at the competition, etc. I was able to grow fast and become a top seller. It was the same for postmarks too. at first, I doubt myself but see the result of it. I learned a lot about the audience, product, market demand, etc.

    With that experience, I want to explore TikTok. What type of skills is needed to hit that goal of gaining followers, from ground up.

    Word of caution here. Word of caution you may hit a brick wall if you listen to half the advice posted in this thread. You are asking about Tik Tok, then you are watching a video on youtube. Tano. Are you going to market your eBay site on Tik Tok? Or have you considered looking into Youtube to market your site? Are you successful with postmarks making any income? Same for eBay are you profitable?

      Thanks. Just switch it. Yes, making Income on eBay and postmark.

      The goal is to eventually have my e-commerce site without using eBay and postmark as a 3 avenue. For TikTok, I want to drive sales to as I'm working on building it. Still kinda new on TikTok.

    You could try Coursera, they offer good courses for cheap. Or you hire someone to teach you the ropes. If you want to go the free route there are plenty of channels on Youtube that teach internet marketing depending on what particular skills you want.

    Youtube is the best platform where you can learn internet marketing. There are hundreds of videos and playlists from where you can learn the most. Also, to do certificates in this field, Coursera, Udemy, Google, etc. are the best platforms.

    Internet marketing is a broad term and it's hard to master every skill. You could start with building 1 skill at a time and grow there. Like you could start creating instagram page and grow that page. Later, you could create affiliate funnels and promote that using your page to build email list. Once you have email list, you could do email marketing as well.

    I have decided to go all in as well, which is why I found this forum. I started with content creation for brands I was working with and my own brands, and now I have jumped in. Started with IG, going into TIK TOK/LinkedIn, and learning about funnels at the same time. I have a couple of people I am working with so I am trying to consume as much knowledge as possible.
