How to drive traffic to the website?
Many people suggested me that I have to write articles of more than 500 words to rank, so is there any way that an article of around 350-400 words would rank!

Why do you want the traffic, and what will you do with it if/when you get it?

Are you selling a product or service? Your own or as an affiliate?

Does your site contain advertising or sponsorship?

Are you hoping to build a subscriber list?

    Are you targeting competitive keywords?

I'm not really expecting answers to these questions, but it's worth a punt.

Hello, how are all of you doing?

My opinion I feel that keywords is so important in order to get ranked along with the other ideas here already shared. Make sure your keywords go according to what you are promoting and check out different keyword tools to see how those keywords are ranking. I know Google use to have a keyword tool to check, so you can see if they still do......

If you do your research, there is no one solution that fits all.

Bigger and more established sites, even with a few paragraphs and a few hundred words can rank up way up in Google, whereas posts from less popular sites can rank a lot lower in SERP although the post is thorough and more detailed with more than a thousand words.

Ranking high through number of words is just one out of the many many many possible ranking criteria, and you should not depend on that.

Like others have suggested, SEO is a lot of work and its continuous. There are lots of website out there that competes with you using whatever means necessary, so don't ever think that your 500 word post would rank higher than them that easy.

  • There's many ways you can rank pages of your site with a small amount of content. Most of the times I myself check for frequently asked questions related to my business goals and create separate pages answering each question. This is a good way to test out if your content is up to scratch with what your preferred search engine is looking for. A short answer that provides insight and clarity to a trending question could also help your page at the top of the search results through SERP features. Other than that, if you are aiming to get that 1st-page rank I would use SEO tools to check the top results' domain authority and work on matching it, then check the amount of content (word count, headings, etc), related terms and keywords in their content so you can potentially compete with them.
