Hi, I notice that people with blog sites do better than people with none (Their site isnt a store). Ive been thinking that my site (It's been around for years but it changed a couple of times) didnt work out the way I wanted it too is because it's plain (Just has tables with links to crypto exchanges and faucets. The only content is in FAQ and Terms). I use to have a faucet on it with no registration/account. Does anyone here have a blog? and how long did it take you to be successful with it?. Thanks

I have sites that have pages and posts... I do not call the posts blog but Articles. So, I have a link to articles in the main nav bar.

My main one took about 2 months to begin being successful.

The amount it takes depends on how you go about it.

There are people who post tons and tons of stuff and, for that reason, if they do onpage SEO, some of their pages float towards the top and they get some or a lot of visitors (depending on how often they post). But, if they stop posting, the visitors stop coming with a matter of days.

Then, there are the ones that post and do off-page SEO. Again, how fast it goes depends on how often they post and how good at SEO they are. If they're good at SEO and stop posting, it takes a long time for traffic to died down completely (in one of my cases, 8 years of no SEO or changes to the site and I still get a hundred or so visitors a month).

Then, there are the ones who do one of the other options above and they also do ads/ some kind of marketing/advertising. They get there fastest.

On average, I read somewhere, it takes a year +, if at all. Most blogs do not make it.

Thanks. I'll work on it to be successful. My big mistake was giving away free crypto just to get traffic instead of making a better site.
