Life can make you change paths when least expected

Good evening warriors the last 2 weeks I've been going through the forum to try to learn more about affiliate marketing and how I can swap careers for this.

A little background on me I'm 31 I have lupus with extensive complications from shingles 3 times, stroke, heart attack collapsed lungs, heart issues I was on dialysis at 25 being on the transplant list at the age of 23. Lucky for me my kidneys made a miraculous recovery and I had my lupus in remission. At this time I was in property management and real estate running over 1000 rental units and taking care of 150 condos and manager (even through dialysis) well about a month ago I got news from the dr I'm no longer in remission my kidneys are running at 40 percent and to top it off I have stage 3 thyroid cancer. This has caused me to need to stop working in property management and find something online.


Over time I knew a little bit here and there about affiliate marketing and online marketing but not enough to pursue. My drs stated the best medication to help me survive and fight off all going on will be in the 30-50000 rate. (I can make payments)

What I'm askinng for is some guidance, I really have to give this a shot and I'm motivated as my life could depend on it. Anyone who does make money online how do you do it? What advice would you give someone just starting who is semi tech friendly but new to the affiliate marketing business? Are there videos that helped you start out? What were some of the road bumps you crossed. I have all kinds of info I just feel sorta lost like where to start. Any videos, links, articles apps reccomendationa would be greatly appreciated! If you have some products you recommend or certain people to follow I'm open minded completely.

I thank you all for reading I didn't right it as a sympathy just to emphasize the urgency I need to take when it comes to this. I have 10+ hours at least 6 days a week if anyone can help get my feet off the ground I'd be forever thankful

    What have you DONE online? There are a lot of helpful threads on this forum and helpful people who can answer some questions. It is a forum, but not a hands- on help site...just so you know.

    If you are totally new to affiliate marketing - start with the threads I put above and ask questions/take action from there.

    Not sure why you've landed on 'affiliate marketing'. Perhaps you have experience in that business model...but often it's chosen because it 'sounds easier' than other methods. For something you can learn and do quickly...read the ebay thread linked above.

      I've done easy things like Etsy and Amazon FBA I have an understanding not gunna say the strongest of understandin but frankly I'm determined to beat the odds

    It came as a recommendation as my eBay store and and Etsy shops were just good pocket cash. A friend recommended it due to the amount of time I'm in hospital and low over head I could constantly work

    Before you dive in - read that thread about ebay. It is by a member here who has been doing it - his family does it - his son does it....it might be easier to scale that up than to start an IM business from scratch.

    Well i am sory for your disease and what hapens to you
    I am not so succesful but as an advice its to build that enail list from the beginning
    Also search for succesful people in the industry and learn from them ,watch what they are doing etc
    I recommend you john crestani ,franklyn hatchet ,wisdom speak ,etc

    I'll put it this way, it's definitely possible to build an income with affiliate marketing. That's the good part. The bad part is that nowadays you're bombarded with so many different pieces of information that eventually you reach a point of overwhelming confusion, which leads you to start doing everything wrong, buying the wrong things, trusting the wrong people, etc.

    To make matters worse, you eventually start procrastinating if you don't achieve the right results quickly enough...That's how it was for me, at least...

    In my opinion, the biggest challenge you face now, with all this information overload, is finding someone or something you can trust and commit to 100% to bring you success.

    Because the only way to really achieve results is to focus extremely sharply on a specific path.

    As Kay already said, you'll certainly learn a lot of good things just from this forum, but otherwise I can only recommend doing something that feels right to your heart..

    who offers a 7 dollar a month membership in selling digital products. Of the many scores of options, this may be one of the best low priced HOW TO courses out there.

    NOW, about YOU...and YOUR STORED VALUE. Someone with your experience in property management and real estate (I speak as a former Realtor GRI)...you might be able to create some very fast digital products, like checklists and graphics that many would be interested in buying.

    My best advice is START fast, with a small HOTSHEET, a little report and follow the time tested and Internet proven way of gathering a tribe together...and your STORED VALUE in Real Estate is only one thing, since you have a whole laundry list of health problems, you will find many groups of people in the same boat.

    If you check out the eBay threads, both savidge4 and Art72, you will find a ton of useful information. But with today's tech, you just dictate, maybe use a template, and create something quickly and get your stuff out there as fast as possible.

    Dean Holland is an excellent mentor. He has a FB group called Millionaires in the Making that he allows pretty much anyone to join, and he posts there regularly. All the people in that group are also very helpful.

    I have found Dean to be one of the most honest marketers out there. He doesn't make outlandish promises, and will tell you exactly what you need to do to be successful. I highly recommend his book, The Iceberg Effect, which can be purchased on Amazon. However, you can get a free copy and only pay shipping by going through an affiliate.
