Dear experts!
I am doing freelance business in my leisure time since last 3 years. But 10 months have been passed but i got no sale. Please tell me how can i promote my freelance business in Architectural services? How can i get traffic to my freelance profile? Which platform is best to attract buyers related to my niche? I need best answer from experts only. Thank you.

    Did you have sales BEFORE the past ten months?


    Your forum name seems to point to a particular software. Are you an architect or are you skilled at using architectural software? Is it possible use of that software has become more widespread or user friendly so that not as many people HIRE someone to do the work? Is it possible new software has made the product you are using outdated? Are there newer programs competing with it? Is your price higher than others promoting the same service?



    I could be totally wrong but I can only respond to the small amount of info you provided. I know nothing about 'architectural services' but I supported myself as a freelancer for several years. My offers changed as new software and new products became popular and then fell off in popularity.



    For any freelancer, putting your ads and full profiles on ALL relevant freelance platforms is smart. Expanding your services might help. Do you have recommendations from past customers?

    The freelance industry has become saturated by all
    the millions of work at home people trying to make
    a living.

    Since you have done freelance work in the past you
    should have some contacts that you can get repeat
    business or referrals from.

    Otherwise you will need to do as much as possible
    like listing your services on freelance marketplaces,
    developing your own website, and promoting your
    services on social media and running ads.

    It could take several days to set up your freelance
    accounts and create your listings, so allow time for
    that and don't give up.

    Another thing that you could do is sell floorplans
    or blueprints as digital downloads.

    It is really important to think outside the box if you
    want to be competitive.

    Putting a listing up in a freelance marketplace is not going to get you anything.

    You would have been better, and would be better, to:

    Step 1: Make a list of firms and call them.

    Step 2: Ask each if they hire freelancers or outsource work.

    Step 3: If they don't, move on to the next. If they do, ask them for what services. Ask what their hiring process is.

    You do not want to try and convince those who don't hire outsourced talent to start doing so. Filter for those who already do.

    You haven't been hired because no one is looking. And if they are, they pick listings with reviews and experience on the platform.

    I have given you a very simple, no risk, easy to do process. Do it for an hour a day for a month and you will find some firms that hire freelancers, and learn how they go about it. You'll be much closer to having work than now, if not having already picked up a project.

    Apart from all the other great advices above, one thing that got my freelance business the first customers was that I offered my service for an extremely cheap, almost ridiculous price at the beginning. Do that to get your first positive reviews and then increase the price step by step.
