How to make free affiliate link?

Hello,

I am pretty new in affiliate, but I would like to give people an opportunity to earn money if they bring us a new client.

So, is it possible to generate a free affiliate link? Or is it possible only with paid tools?

    why would someone bring you clients just to get an "opportunity" to earn money

      As all affiliates should be aware, when they link to your products/services, not everybody buys who visits your link. Generally speaking, most websites only pay affiliates when the person they send via a link actually buys something. Otherwise, it would be super easy to create a whole mob of fake people that you get paid on when they visit a site.

    To the O.P., you did not mention which platform you are using for your website, making it it pretty hard to give you an answer about affiliate marketing software/plugins (WordPress/Shopify/BigCommerce/Shift4Shop, etc.).

      We have our own website, we do not use plugins.

      Now we are ready to pay if someone shares traffic, or if someone recommends our software, or gives us an email address and phone number of a hotelier.
      We do not have a system that could track purchases.

    Create a contact form and have them include a user Id number. This could help keep track of sales.

    Wow, this is such a 'blast to my past' question!

    Back when I first published an infoproduct (an ebook about email newsletter marketing), there were few affiliate program platforms - and all were too expensive for me to afford.

    So I used a workaround that was clunky, but still possible today.

    I hand-crafted landing pages for each of my affiliates. And then coded an order button specifically for that affiliate. And then, whenever orders came in to that link, I would pay them the share owed - by PayPal.

    Today, it's not necessary - because a platform like Clickbank, for example, lets you sign up for free (or a modest one-time charge?). You can then list your product on the marketplace, for affiliates to sign up.

    Once they do, Clickbank provides them with a way to generate their own affiliate link for your product or service.

    There are some terms and conditions you must comply with (which are very reasonable). So you're better off going with such a system. There are several other affiliate platforms available, each with their own pros and cons, that let you create affiliate links for your partners.

    But if you're against using any of those, and have a way to build individual pages for each affiliate and don't mind a cumbersome, clunky way to track your referrals, you could take my approach from 20 years ago! (ha ha)

    Why don't you create an affiliate program in a place like Clickbank and allow people to promote your offer through there?
