how to get more clarity in my business venture?

hi,

So i managed to get my offer to convert again from my last posting here, what ended up happening is someone i previously shot a free video for commented on the post highly reccomending me, and the post blew up

I'm a videographer and my entire marketing strategy is just to add value, the best way i currently know how to do that is just to shoot free videos,

i posted this free offer about a month ago in a local facebook group and got about 30 leads, i managed to shoot at least one, they ended up tipping me about $150 bucks and want me to shoot a youtube cooking series at $200 per episode, (i asked for $250, but she said to start lets do $200, i agreed)

personally i cant think of an easier way to make $$$, but maybe my mind will change after posting this

but yeah im trying to get more clarity on what i should be doing on a daily basis, because right now my only things that i really do are add value, and learn more about filmmaking, i think of it like this:

1. innovation (learning filmmaking)

2. marketing (adding value)

and this doesnt take up too much time, i have alot of free time that i feel i could be more productive with

should i just focus all my time serving my customers and prospects and following up with them? I'm also trying to follow Jeff Walkers advice and build an email list, also debating joining BNI

i know this is all over the place, but just looking for a second opinion (i think im in analysis paralysis)

Thanks for any helpful feedback!

Also sometimes just writing out my thought process then getting feedback really helps, im only about 7 months into this venture

One thing I can confidently state from experience is this...

If it's working for you, keep doing it.

By all means, get better at it. And add on new things to it. But always stick to what works - at least for as long as it's working well.

Not all businesses and models require the same actions. List building with a steady follow up sequence of email follow ups isn't relevant for every niche or audience. And a contact list of potential prospects to whom you send an occasional coupon or special deal offer may work far better for a model like yours than a weekly or monthly email newsletter.

Test out everything. See what works for you. And keep doing it. Reject the rest. Rinse and repeat.

    Hope this helps.

    All success,
    Dr.Mani

Thanks, that really helps, I guess i'm just overcomplicating things,

Too much "candy" out there in the world,

I guess I'll just keep adding value, and increase my prices,

      thanks!!
