Seeking Entrepreneurial Biography

Hello,

I've been on the hunt for an English-language biography about an entrepreneur, but despite diving deep into my research, I haven't stumbled upon one that really resonates with me. I'm looking for a(n) (lesser-known) entrepreneur who has achieved success through their mindset and is willing to share the unfiltered truth about the entrepreneurial journey - all the highs, lows, and in-betweens. Furthermore, I would like to know everything about businesses/starting a business.

Most of the biographies I've come across so far focus on tangible products, and I'm really keen on finding a story centered around online services/agencies/improving other businesses.

Does anyone have recommendations for such a biography?

You mean Robert Kiyosaki who filed Chapter 7 bankruptcy in August of 2012.

For the original poster, you may want to get a hold of something like a few copies of Success Magazine, they usually have interviews with successful entrepreneurs. Some are very famous others are obsure. They give a whole background into each individual. One of the famous people that is fairly well known. Robert Herjavic how he got started from being an immigrant to becoming a billionaire.

Rich Dad, Poor Dad is in large part fictionalized. Not saying it's not a good read but I would not recommend it for someone looking for true entrepreneur success stories.

Might choose from the list of 25 best business biographics at
    https://www.failory.com/blog/business-biographies
(I have no connection to the site in any way)

A google search for 'entrepreneur biography US' gave a lot of options.

Re-reading your post....another place to start might be looking at the books of Dan Kennedy. Also, you might find something on the list linked below (again, no connection).

No book will teach you everything - it's a learn as you go process for most of us.

I consider him lesser known, but others? Ben Suarez and his book, 7 STEPS TO FREEDOM II. It has a soup to nuts, A to Z HOW to, along with his biography and his many fights with US Gov. types too.

Five years of failure, near bankruptcy, and then a MINDSET change, and from that rough start he built a 150 million dollar a year business.

A lighter read, less how to, but a lot of insight is START AT THE TOP, by Burton Morgan, founder of one and co-founder of another Fortune 500 company. You may like his poor boy, hands on approach who was not afraid to get his hands dirty for his business.

Mr. Morgan's book is inspirational, and Ben's book is literally a HOW TO DO IT type of book.

P.S. Although both men were PRODUCTS Entrepreneurs, many of their lessons are applicable to services too. Jay Abraham is good for that, but you'll never find a truthful bio on his journey. There are 1001 online agencies which may have success, the problem with getting their histories accurately is, most are still active and wouldn't tell you the truth on their start-ups either (many having legal problems they would like us to not remember).

There are so many interesting entrepreneurs, but you really
don't know their story until you read their books. I don't know
whether his book would be considered as an autobiography
because he is so young, but Dan Henry is a very interesting
person that anyone doing business online could learn from.
