I have been blogging for quite some time now. But I haven't seen much traffic on my blog. How best can I get more traffic on the blog so that I can monetise the blog.

You can tweet your blog link
    You can repurpose your content
You can link back to other post in your blog post
    Guest post
    Email blast
Post on your face book fan page if you have 1
Create youtube videos and paste links to your blog that are relative to your videos

All of this has to be done strategically otherwise it will look like spam .

There are hundreds of ways to drive traffic and you can
find those online and by reading this forum.

But none of that matters if you're just dabbling with your
blog, not being consistent, and people are not interested
in the topic of your blog.

You need to assess what you are doing, why you aren't
attracting traffic, and whether you might need to pivot
    and do something different.

The days of publishing a single blog and having that be
your only income stream are over.

You can work on low-competition keywords first. Then, when you get more traffic and your blog DA increases you can go for medium competition keywords. Low competition keywords help to rank quickly in Google for new blogs and it give signal to google that your content is helpful so it suggest your content to other users to gets more traffic

I have recently launched a new website While I m getting some social traffic, organic search traffic is quite low, and I suspect this is why my rankings aren't improving. Can anyone suggest the current status of building profile backlinks and what factors are applicable for site branding?

    1. Work on low-competition keywords.
    2. Build quality backlinks.
    3. Guest post to your relevant niche sites
