Advice from an SEO expert

I have this domain, [link removed by moderator] It has a monthly search rate of between 9k and 12k, but it does not have a website. If I do a redirect on a blog or page, will it get visitors?

How do you figure? Just because a domain's words get searched for doesn't mean that it will rank for anything at all.

If the domain name appears at (or near) the top of the rankings for a search, sure, you'll get traffic. I don't think that is what the O.P. is saying, though. (How could a domain name with no website rank for anything? Where would you go if you clicked on it?).

So, a re-direct from a domain that doesn't rank for anything is a pretty worthless re-direct.

Redirecting a domain with good monthly search volume to an active blog or page can help capture some of that traffic, but it won't be as effective as building a proper website with relevant content. Search engines prioritize sites with useful, original content. A simple redirect might bring some visitors initially, but without a solid SEO strategy (like optimizing content, improving user experience, and targeting relevant keywords), it's unlikely to see long-term results.

It's best to create a website that targets the search intent behind those queries to fully leverage the domain's potential.

Once again, search volume and traffic are two entirely different things. A domain that does not have a website cannot possibly have either.
