Back to work for me, hello Warrior Forum!
I'm posting this here somewhat as my introduction. I'm getting back into working here.
I've had some successful journeys. Unfortunately, life had thrown some curve-balls as they say.
I'm finally getting back to it though. I've got a decent setup at home and some servers, a few sites that are a WIP with one primary and a couple things I do on the side here and there for a little extra income.
I'm primarily focusing on a niche site which I won't share. I'm not new to this world and my area is expanding in competition which I don't wish to help. Anyway, it's a good bit of work and I'm not earning yet.. In fact, I'm "losing" but I don't think of it that way. I know from the past how this works. The search engines are already indexing - from google to yandex and in-between - and I've various socials setup.
I use AI to aid me but I do all of my own code. Basically all of my own web. Graphics, I suck at but somehow manage to make look half decent but still use AI to help a lot with - if at least for concepts. Articles are 50/50. I may totally hand-craft or use AI heavily but they always end with at least being human-edited well.
This site is my primary site simply due to the amount of traffic it's picking up early. I have a book of nearly 5 dozen ideas. I started with 10 websites on one of the servers and then narrowed them down to a handful. This was the one that took off the most though it only had a few posts and was neglected so, I started treating it like it was my baby. It's not incredible, no. It is above expected however. It's not converting well though so I'm tweaking designs and getting ready to split-test themes and home pages, etc.
I expect this site to eventually generate 4 figures a month steady, at least. 4 or 5. I have realistic expectations. I know it could be months before I see even 50 bucks. My first round, it took me years to figure out how to actually make money online. I'm aware there's no quick way that also lasts for real. I intend for this site to remain until I die so, I'm doing it right meaning, somewhat slow and steady - where I have to anyway.
That site is pretty much everything I'm about right now. It is all-consuming. When I am working on something, it is constantly on my mind. Once this one has enough content and social/search presence to bring in at least 4 figures a month, I'll pick up creating content for a second and these will go into funding future plans.
I never know how to introduce myself online but I'm working on this site right now and will always be working on something if I'm on this forum so, my thoughts will always be consumed with work.
I love it though. It is nice to be back to it. Even if it's not earning yet. I am not single. This is being funded from excess income so we have the time to see it through and, that we will.
So hello Warrior Forum. I'm MagicMarketingMonkey. My real magic lies in mad determination. I don't stop until I succeed once going. Once you get the first taste especially well .. Once I get earning, I will come back and share more about the niche. I don't want to shoot myself in the foot yet.
Regarding other topics, I'll keep an eye out for things I can hopefully be helpful on.
If I've learned anything from my past experience: It doesn't matter if you're an expert or brand-new, if you keep pushing you'll break through and start earning eventually! When thinking long-term, think white-hat. I have done some "quick" methods but, they don't tend to last. I like to treat each website as if it is a true business, no matter it's subject/content.
This may seem like an odd/long introduction but it is actually perfect. If you wanted to know me for real, this is me. I am constantly running stuff through my mind. I can hold a conversation with you and be thinking over my next 10 steps for this. I live for IT. Some movies and coincidences just made me fall in love with code young, then some family was into marketing and things fell together.
I did modify this from my introduction on another forum where I also signed up but I intended on posting the same here. I wanted to share what I'm currently doing in this area that other new folks arrive to hopefully give a little insight or encouragement. Real success can be had online by almost anyone with enough patience and typically a little investment. If you don't have funds right away then simply start with the smaller approaches to fund the slightly bigger and gradually move up. That is precisely how I'm getting back on my feet: Starting with what I can and moving towards my big goals in a practical manner. Even with almost no money, you can find deals to start cheap sites for as little as a dollar and get yourself going. You just have to get into a routine.
