Hi buddies,

I'm a programmer and Linux/Windows server administrator. I'm quite new here and I missed my introduction while learning for some weeks now. I'm on a mission to developing the next big SMTP and email marketing solution. I already got some experience but the knowledge is never enough and I'm looking at working with you all to help your next email marketing campaign come alive and be successful with my experience so far on SMTP server setup and bulk email marketing, while I gain more experience and raise more money that would help me develop the next big SMTP solution and email marketing software.

I'm quite frankly, glad to be part of this big family.

Thanks to you all!

Most email marketers use established systems costing
$30 a month or whatever and that has been around for
    decades.

Some offer features like integrated A.I. to make things
such as newsletter publishing super easy.

Your idea is nice but why bother reinventing the wheel?
You probably need to develop something that is more
innovative than what is already available.

I'm not actually trying to reinvent the wheel unlike most already existing SaaS, you mail from their servers which has a lot of limitations, DOs and DONTs but my intention with is to provide a means for those who want to have their own private mailing server and handle their own IP reputation. I mean this could save the bulk mailers more money. It also has to be highly focus on security to prevent intrusion from hackers looking to abuse the servers. The idea is based on the fact that most VPS and dedicated server do not have limit to the number of emails one can send and cold email marketing can be a great way to generate a lot of traffic and build your subscriber list if done properly (while adhering to all anti-spam laws depending on whether is an email list or leads you've got). The email marketing solution will rely heavily on AI and amongst other features, have a 100% bounce-back/dead emails removal mechanism. I mean what if you could launch an email marketing campaign by interaction just like you do with ChatGPT?

        That sounds great.

        Good luck with it.

I hope it will work as you envision and get actual customers.

I use mailchimp and the limitations are so irritating it has made me ask similar questions. I have come to the conclusion that AI may well make traditional auto-responder services obsolete.

    Hear me out:

As we speak I could code up an optin form and just have the email added to a CSV file.

    I submit ===> HUGGING FACE

What's to say I couldn't just create or use an existing (chatgpt 2) agent to send an email file to each address?

Note to clients to whitelist email and bambalamb! anti spam laws blown out the poop hole. LMRAO

Remember: you can micro manage every detail and things can still go sideways! So who cares what emails don't make it? Just collect the ones that you actually get and over time iron out the bugs in your system.

Overall point: If I can do that (for FREE) why on earth would I (or anyone) pay you? Or any other gate keeper for that matter?

Times have changed... marketers have not... js

I've definitely had my own frustrations with Mailchimp and other platforms. It can feel like you're paying for a lot of features you don't use. I will definitely put this into consideration as I develop.

You need to get out and network so that you can meet and build relationships with potential investors.

You are also gojng to have to be able to show them how they will get a return on their money and what other benefits they'll get besides being a controller of your firm .

Being that you be seeking seed money you'll have to be willing to give up a percentage of your company unless you take up a bank loan .

Alright Jamell, thanks for pointing this out. How would you suggest I get started? I mean are there platforms I could sign up for?

Why does he or she need to get out and network, meet/build relationships.

Have you ever heard of platforms such as KickStarter?

I think I've stumbled upon it but haven't really checked what they are all about. I just checked now and they seem to "help bring creative projects to life" according to Wikipedia. Thanks for this suggestion Monetize, it would really help at the early stage.

You are so welcome, but this was more Jamell's idea, although it
crossed my mind when I first read your post.

KickStarter is not the only crowd-funding platform, there are others
so I suggest you check a few and choose the one or two that works
          for you.

Remember that software is a dime a dozen these days, because
anyone can develop things using A.I.-generated code.

On that note, you might not even need any funding, and you should
also be careful about divulging what might possibly be a patentable
          concept.

Alright Monetize, I understand what you mean and I actually have the best approach in mind. The idea isn't all that unique per say and the innovation lies within the experience (not just about been able to code) else it would be just another product with same approach with others already in the market. Personally, this won't be fun without competitors and the ability to thrive and win in a market full of rivals is the true definition of victory.

Since my first thread was taken down by the moderators, I lost direction on what to post and what not to post. So I just learn and consume what resonates with me. Considering my background, I don't really know much about email marketing from the affiliates perspective but I do know a lot about mail systems and its technologies more than most average and some advanced users. I also know how to drive a huge number of emails inbox these knowledge I gained from helping individuals and businesses manage their email campaigns as a freelancer. So, this is me put all that experience over the years into a product (my own product) with some sprinkling of innovation due to the flaws and limitations I have seen in other products out there. Some tools that have worked for me so far is Mautic mailer, couple of software's (some of these software's and plug-ins, I built myself) that has helped in increasing my email deliverability, extracting and verifying my email list considering that it's cold email marketing and of course adhering to antispam laws considering the geo I'm sending emails to.
