I can't upload anymore photos on my wordpress site

Hey guys, I'm having trouble uploading more photos onto my articles on wordpress. I currently have 167 photos but It seems like I can't upload anymore if I don't delete some pre existenting ones. But even I can't so this for some photos where I have 2 copies one the org and the other for my articles with alt txt etc.


Any help is welcome!

  • 1. Contact your web host and find out what's up.
    You might need to upgrade your account.

    2. Host your images in the cloud somewhere.

    3. URL embed the images on your page.

  • Hey Jack, it sounds like you might have hit your hosting or WordPress media upload limit. Some hosting plans have a cap on total storage or file count. You could try checking your hosting dashboard or cPanel to see how much space is left.

    Also, check your WordPress settings or install a plugin like WP-Optimize to clean up unused media and database clutter. That might free up enough space without requiring manual deletion of essential items.
