What is the issue with the website not being indexed? After checking all major checks

I have tried every method for a long time, and there is no error in Search Console nor any penalty, and SEO has also been running for the last four months, but the website is not showing in Google for any keyword. What could be the problem? Please suggest me.

If your site is not showing up on Google for any keyword after four months of SEO effort and no Search Console errors or penalties, then there could be a more fundamental problem beyond standard SEO. Some potential reasons and recommendations follow:

    Indexing Issues

    Technical SEO Issues

Very Low Authority or Brand-New Domain

    Thin or Duplicate Content

    Highly Competitive Keywords

    Algorithmic Trust Signals

Google considers E-E-A-T (Experience, Expertise, Authoritativeness, Trustworthiness).

Add author bios, about page, contact details, and improve website credibility.

your site isn't showing on Google after 4 months, the issue is usually with indexing, content quality, or competition. Check if your pages are indexed with site:yourdomain.com, ensure there's no noindex or robots.txt block, and make sure your content is unique and valuable. Also, focus on building high-quality niche backlinks and improving technical SEO. For new sites, it can take 6-12 months to start ranking due to competition [link removed by moderator]

Verify that your website fulfills all requirements for indexing, and if after solving issues there is still the same problem, then you can try the indexing tool, which may help you a lot.

Sometimes it's not about obvious errors but about smaller behind the scenes stuff like Google not crawling enough pages, your site relying heavily on JavaScript,or certain pages being completely disconnected from the rest of the site,it's also worth checking your robots.txt and meta tags to make sure you're not blocking pages by accident. And if your site is brand new Google might just be taking its time to trust it before indexing.Strengthen your internal links, get some high quality backlinks, and make sure your content is genuinely helpful and more original

    Hey
i have been trying to figure this out too. I did all the usual checks like robots.txt, noindex tags, and sitemap submission but my site still is not showing up. Could it be something with Google's crawling schedule or am I missing some setting in Search Console?

Only 4 months. What is the keyword competition for the keyword you are working. If the competition is high, it will take definitely a year to appear on SERP. You need to wait!

  • If all basics check out (robots.txt, sitemap, no index tags, crawl errors), the issue might be low quality or duplicate content, poor backlinks, or lack of authority. Try improving content depth, building quality links, and requesting indexing via Google Search Console.

Are you ranking for anything on other search engines like Bing?

How large is your site? Have you done any link building?

If your site isn't being indexed, check for technical SEO issues, thin or duplicate content, low domain authority, and weak E-E-A-T signals. Fixing these can help search engines crawl and index your pages faster.

If your site isn't indexed after all major checks, it may be due to thin content, poor internal linking, JavaScript issues, or incorrect canonical tags. Server errors or a manual action could also block indexing. Use Google Search Console's URL Inspection Tool to find the exact issue.

check indexing status in Search Console, improve content depth, and start building quality backlinks. Over time, visibility will improve if there are no major technical issues
