What forms of Affiliate Marketing Work Best?

Hello Readers, I am 65. I've looked into Affiliate Marketing for years now. I have several of the newest A.I programs to speed the process along. I'd like to market HIgh Commission products. Word Press is a joke! I've bought books on it, seen YouTube videos on it, and can't get it, or its clone products like Wix and Elementor to work, so I guess I'll market without a website, using videos. Do any of you know of a decent program or site that can help with the SEO and Tags Etc, or any A.I programs that help with it? I appreciate all suggestions. Thank you all.

I am your same age and I have been affiliate
marketing for 20+ years, so you can take my
    advice or leave it.

You can hire freelancers to develop a WP site,
I have paid less than $100, or just develop an
HTML site, it's not that difficult, you can use
    Ai systems for that.

Everybody wants to market high-ticket offers,
good luck starting with those, because most
affiliate programs won't deal with you if you
lack experience and a large social following.

And the Rolex merchants do not want their
    products listed on a Wix.

I suggest you forego SEO tactics and develop
another strategy. You're going to need to think
outside the box to compete with the millions of
other affiliate marketers and all the other things
going on these days because everybody and
their brother is trying to make money online.

There are other ways to promote affiliate offers
besides a website, if you plan on using videos
then learn how to use YouTube, you can place
    your links in the description.

I hate to discourage you but it's tough out here
especially if you have no developer, marketing,
funnel building, lead gen, advertising, and other
    relevant experience/skills.

You don't need those skills, but as with anything,
it's better to have it and not need it, than the
    other way around.

Assess your skills and figure out what you can
learn quickly, you might get lucky, but again, it's
    rough out here.

The good news is that there are other ways to
    make money online.

If you haven't already done so, get some books
on passive retirement income, work from home,
anything along those lines, pick something and
    get real busy fast.

If you have any questions, post them here.

Thanks for your response. I really do appreciate it. I'd have done this sooner, but right now I'm working an office job and taking care of my older sister I live with. Long store. Thanks again.

Using videos for affiliate marketing is a great idea. Focus on creating engaging content, use relevant keywords and tags, and keep your titles and descriptions clear. Consistency and good SEO practices will help you grow even without a website.

The easiest and most profitable type of affiliate marketing is promoting digital products such as ebooks, courses, and software.

      Not necessarily.

Travel products are easy and VERY profitable.

Travel = cruises, airfare, hotels, luggage, etc.

There are other categories but I'll leave it at travel.

People need to stop being stuck on digital products
because there are THOUSANDS of physical things
that can be promoted through affiliate sales.

    Welcome to WF.

What's wrong with Wordpress? It's fairly easy to use and there are a ton of plugins and themes you can use. If you have hosting with cpanel, it's very easy to install. With that being said it's certainly not required.

Anyways, what products are you looking to promote?

I complain about WP because I used to edit my template/theme's code
and it was just too time-consuming, it's faster and easier for me to set
up a regular HTML website, and now I'm using vibe coding platforms
      which are fantastic.

If I need WP for functionality, I hire freelancers they don't even charge
much to set them up and then I can edit however I want.

WordPress is a strong option for website developments.

It's easier to get approved by affiliate networks if you have a website,
and better than having random methods for generating sales.

If you are serious about your affiliate marketing career, if you are a
beginner, do yourself a favor and have a professional website/blog
as well as social media or whatever else you are doing.

Thanks for your response. I'd like a site to just list Affiliate offers on one page and have a blog on a different page. Do you know the current hourly rate of a WordPress website creator? Thanks again for your response.

Whats wrong with WordPress? Well faulty plug in's that kill your site when WordPress has an update. That has happened. This last time I tried WordPress, I went to my 2nd page and tried a "practice post." It went not on my 2nd page, but to the home page right next to "Hello World." I've ordered lots of WordPress books from Amazon, and looked at endless WordPress videos on YouTube, to no avail. And trying to edit a page and have it come up the way I want never works. I'm about done with WordPress. Thanks for your response anyways, I do appreciate it.

  • Best Affiliate Marketing Forms (No Website)

YouTube Reviews: 5-10 min videos on high-ticket products (e.g., "Top AI Tools"). Add affiliate links in descriptions. Post 1-2x/week. Evergreen, high trust.
TikTok/Reels: 15-60 sec clips sharing product stories (e.g., "How this course boosted my income"). Links in bio/Linktree. Viral potential, 2x engagement.
Email + Video: Build a list via YouTube/social. Send weekly video emails with affiliate links. Converts 3-5x better than social.

Thanks for your response. I've thought of doing the Tik Tok and LinkTree thing too. Is there such a thing as advertising your Tik Tok site on Google? Thanks again.

You can succeed without a website. Focus on YouTube or short videos about high-commission products you know well.
Create helpful clips, add your affiliate links in the description, and use Google Trends for tags.
Clear titles and consistent effort work better than fancy SEO tools.

The best way to affiliate marketing right now is through short videos and simple email funnels, specially if you're promoting expensive products with big commissions.Since you don't want to deal with WordPress or websites, stick to platforms like YouTube,TT or Instagram reels - short clips tend to build trust fast and usually convert a lot better than blog posts, then, connect those videos to an easy email funnel using tools like Systeme.io so your audience gets follow-up emails automatically, for seo and tags, you can use tools like TubeBuddy or Jasper AI - they help you find the right keywords, titles, and hashtags without needing a full website

Well going with high ticket items its the way to go but

Affiliate marketing in general with low to midle offers its competitive and not easy and if you choose to go with high ticket products its way more dificult

Its becaause you need to make people trust you ,build a relationship with them to be able to make them purchase

Also i think seo its not a good idea as it take ages to rank or at least not depend only on seo
    Maybe conbine seo with youtube

Wow that sounds really cool. I think using videos is a smart idea if websites are hard. Maybe you can try some AI tools that help with SEO too. I hope you find one that works great.

Content-based affiliate marketing usually works best, like blog posts, reviews, or tutorials that genuinely recommend products to your audience.

Marketing through video is good, and choosing higher-priced products may reduce competition, but it will be more difficult to promote. This is because you need to gain people's trust and build connections to drive purchases. Furthermore, I suggest you don't rely entirely on SEO; combining SEO with YouTube will be more effective.

Great post! At 65, diving into affiliate marketing with AI tools is impressive.
If you're focusing on video-based marketing without a website, you can still grow fast with the right SEO tools.
