Hey everyone,

I'm currently trying to land my first client in digital marketing and could really use some guidance from people with experience.

You'll need to give more details if you want useful replies. Let's start with:

What service are you providing, and who are your target prospects? Also:

What experience do you have with the service(s) you wish to sell?

If you are trying to get clients, you need to go to
places where people hang out like the freelance
sites, business forums, or you can run paid ads
    for your services.

If you don't have a website, you need to develop
one that lists whatever you offer.

Are you using ChatGPT to strategize, because
those LLMs can analyze your business and tell
you exactly how to promote yourself.

Try freelancing websites, create your gigs, showcase your work, hunt for clients, send your proposals. This is the best way to get clients easily.

I've been there getting the first client is honestly the toughest step. What helped me was focusing on a small niche and just starting real conversations instead of trying to pitch services right away. Once someone sees you're helpful, the first opportunity usually follows.

I remember being in the same position when I started, and honestly getting that first client is the hardest part.

What helped me early on was not trying to sell "services" right away, but just offering something small or specific to people I already had some connection with, even if it was a simple audit or helping fix one thing.

Once you get that first result, even if it's small, it becomes much easier to build from there.
