Top Affiliate Programs Make You Top Money

If you want to be an affiliate marketer, of course you want to be promoting the top affiliate programs. Those new to the game often choose some of the worst affiliate programs possible.
Myself, I got started in the travel niche. Well, that's not quite right. Firstly, I met a guy online selling his site which he made $1000/month for $20,000. Just so you know, that is extremely over-priced! I am pretty disgusted I even considered buying it, back then. I am glad I did not. In fact, I think he was selling it for $25,000 at first, now that I think about it, but would considered $20K. In the end, I heard from a partner of his that he sold it for about $16,000. Still way too much. A site making such little money will usually be worth from 3-6 months worth of profit, so it could have been worth as little as $1000. Others say a site is worth 1-3 years worth of profit, but I disagree.
Anyway, he was making money with Clickbank products. Of course Clickbank has thousands upon thousands of offers to promote, and it may be a good start. I noticed he was promoting one travel offer on his site, and that got me searching on Google for the top travel affiliate programs, as I figured since I am quite interested in travel, I would probably enjoy promoting in this nice. I found a fantastic site which listed hundreds of affiliate programs, and I discovered the Hotels Combined affiliate program, and that program made me my first money. If you ever get in to hotel booking promotion as an affiliate, I suggest theirs, though conversions have gone down since I first started as they refined their system. In fact, I should probably split test with other programs to see if I can make more money with another program, that is the best way to do it.
Anyway, Clickbank is one of the top affiliate programs if you use it correctly. Other programs that list multiple offers are the Google Affiliate Network, Pepperjam and Paydotcom. Than, there are countless cpa networks which can make you good money (some consider Pepperjam a cpa network though it's set up different from most), such as affiliate.com and Neverblue. Always look around and choose only the best affiliate programs with which to work.
