Solo E-mails Gone Bad
Posted 29th September 2010 at 02:55 PM by acurren
The first experience I ever had with solo emails was not good.
I was following a tip from a marketing expert that said it was all that and more.
I found a ezine that fit the niche, found the ad sign up page and submitted my email to publish.
It was $57. for a solo ad. Then I started to feel queezy and tried to contact the owner of the ezine. And tried several times with different emails.
No reply, so I opened a dispute with paypal. Still no response.
Luckily I got a refund but lesson learned.
From now on I will follow the advice of Directory of Ezines owner, Charlie Page.
He gives the complete A-Z training on advertising with ezines.
Here is the link to his main site DOE and a full membership is well worth it if you ask me.
