There seems to be some sneaky underhanded strategies that abound in Internet Marketing -

I found one today that sort of shocked me at first. Then I got over it...a little.

I found this offer on one of those Fiverr site clones, which seem to be popping up like crazy all over. Anyhow - the seller said he would MASS DISLIKE any YouTube video for $XX.00.

The sales copy made it seem innocuous enough 'are you tired of your friend bragging about all his Youtube views? - knock him down a notch ...blah, blah, blah'

Even I came up with a devilish idea the other day to lay some hurt on a competitor if I wanted to . . . but is that the right way to do business?

Is all fair in love and internet marketing?

Are we as Warriors truly at war?

No, all is not fair. There are things such as ethics and morals to consider.

Doing something evil to advance your business is wrong. Someone who does something underhanded may get away with it (for now) or they may be exposed as the low-life slime that they are.

I know that I can sleep at night because I do business honestly. Maybe if I were a sociopath I could sleep well even doing things such as this person offers.

Thanks IdeaLady...for contributing to this thread.

...there are many many more examples like the Fiverr example above.

From fake Fiverr testimonials - to fake screenshots - to a variety of bluefart methods practiced (I assume) by a large group of people.

Are they are evil? Are they all sociopaths?

    I dunno.

I like to sleep well also...so, even if I can come up with a strategy now and then - doesn't mean I'll ever apply it.

Mostly - I find it very interesting where people in this business draw the line.
