What's the Sense of Adfly?

After Adfly has killed my Adsense account, I used the remaining traffic to build my list. And I got 312 subscribers from it. I mailed about five times, and made zero sales, so the Adfly traffic seems to be worthless, as their visitors just don't spend money.
Okay, when I mailed, my list was mostly not even half the size, but still. I also used Adfly on a spam filter service. I got over 30 signups for a thirty day free trial, but none converted...So Adfly seems to be worth zilch. It worked great for me for Adsense, but only until my account got banned, without a single cent paid out...
