Prosper and be in Health

Today I would like to remind you that we are coming up on Thanksgiving. This is a time of the year to be thankful for what we have. In America we are so blessed! This is a land where you can truly prosper. Most of us have a car a home and money in the bank. Beyond all of that we have family friends and our health. The Bible tells us in the book of 1John, "Beloved above all things I desire that you prosper and be in health, even as your soul prospers". Most of us understand what it means to prosper with material things. We know the prosperity that comes in the form of financial abundance. But what about prosperity of soul. In order to understand what prosperity of soul is, we must understand what the soul is. We are created as a 3 part being. Every person is a spirit we have a soul and we live in a physical body. It's easy to understand what our body is because we can see it and feel it. Most of us are more body conscious than anything else. However, I'm going to share with you a little secret. If you can identify your spirit and walk after the priciples of love and giving you can receive great prosperity. Now the spirit is the part of us that is eternal. You see every human is an eternal creature. I know not everyone believes that but it is true. Your spirit will live on long after your physical body dies. What about the soul? We're talking about prosperity of the soul. Your soul is the part of you that relates to the intelectual rhelm. You are seeing these words with your physical eyes but receiving the knowledge through your soul. So to have prosperity of soul means to have fulfilment in your mind will and emotions. True prosperous living goes beyond material wealth and takes us to a place of fulfilment. When your soul is fulfilled you will prosper in the rehlms of financial abundance and material wealth. Do you like the job you have right now? Most don't. However, if there is a hobby or something that you love to do, imagine being able to do that everyday. Imagine being paid well to do what you love to do. That is true prosperity. Finding what you love and brings fulfillment to you and creating a position for that. A position that pays. For me prosperity has come in a very unique way. I never thought I would be able to do what I am doing now. I love to preach the gospel. Now I am able to preach and able to find financial abundance. My concern is that I never want to rely on the church to pay my salary. I don't want people to pay for the gospel. So I found something that is so amazing it generates wealth for me and does not take away from preaching the gospel.
