You Need to use Classified Listings for Your Business.

If you have an online business you should be doing classified submissions.
Remember the last time you went to a classified site? Why did you go there? Let me answer - you went there looking for a service or product - right?
In a typical buying cycle people start researching on a search engine about the product or service they want to buy. Transaction takes place when the research phase is
over and the buyer is convinced about suitablity of the product or service. The later you can engage a potential buyer in a buying cycle - the better are your chances of making a sale.
Classified sites often are the last stop in a buying cycle. People go there looking to buy stuff - service or product. As a business owner would not you like to have eager to
buy leads in front of your door? I bet you would!
Let me add that not all classified sites will deliver you traffic or leads. Old established sites like craigslist.com and backpages.com tend to deliver the highest value,
followed by medium sized ones like olx, ebay classifieds and gumtree.
Beware, there are classified sites set up solely to act as backlink networks. Stay away from these else your business may get penalized in search engine results. Such sites
are easy to detect - look for alexa ranking and google pagerank, most have none.
Most effective classified sites will offer you a premium listing option. Your listing gets featured and stay longer if you go premium. But i would suggest trying out the free
option first - you will get an idea of effectiveness before paying anything.
While writing your ad copy make sure that it is grammer and spelling error-free. Potential clients / customers may get turned off by a poorly written ad copy. After all- perception matters!
Before submitting your ad - read guidelines of the site, top classifieds have specific terms or use and posting guidelines. You will waste your time if you violate these
guidelines as your ad will not be published and your account may even get banned for a long time (happens with craigslist ofter - so you are warned!)
