Interesting thread, well worth a read

I use exit splash, I like it a LOT better than a pop-up or a pop under since it doesn't interfere with the site visitor. It simply ads a final page that the user has to deal with either for a opt-in, twitter tweet or poll.. whatever the webmaster wants to have the visitor deal with. since it's non-intrusive - the visitor doesn't get upset.
