Getting the Word out
Thanks for your advice. I'll be sure to look into BTL advertsing. Anyone else have anyother ideas. It doesn't matter if its free or not, as long as I can generate traffic.Posted 30th June 2009 at 12:02 PM by JPtheking13

Getting the Word out
My recommendation would be to do copious amounts of BTL advertising, which, when executed correctly, make a huuuuge and positive impact on people's minds, making them remember the brand or company for many years after they are exposed to the campaign.
However, there really isn't such thing as "free" in the marketing/advertising world. Trust me. If you want the word to get out, you'll have to pay for it one way or another. Take consolation, though, in the fact that it isn't how much you spend on the campaign itself what counts, but having enough money to afford to have your campaign executed EXACTLY the way it's supposed to - that's the key to successful marketing.
Just my two cents.

Are free ways effective?
I'm fairly new also, but based on my bit of research...
I don't consider myself to be an online expert or anything, but I have done my fair share of research about making money online and ways you can do it without investing large amounts of money or none at all. The only absolutely free way i've found is to do affiliate marketing. That is, advertising products for online companies of your choice that have an affiliate program in place and being compensated when there is a sale. You earn a percentage of the sale based on what the agreement was. Because you are new to the online marketing field, just prepare yourself for the time you will need to commit to learning the basics and eventually all the ins and outs of internet marketing. There are many. Whatever you do though, you need to stick with it in order to see results. The riches won't come overnight but if you stay consistent and continue to learn and grow, it will pay off in the end. I have heard stories of affiliate marketers who do very, very well. I'm talking in the 5 figure a month range. Anyways, that's only the tip of the iceberg but considering everything i've been through the last 6 months, i'm just willing to help anybody I can in saving a little time on research to find the right program best suited for their needs and desires. Good luck and if there's anything I can help with let me know! God Bless!Posted 18th June 2009 at 10:16 PM by Stephanie Adams
