Web Biz SEO Success Tip: What's In A Name?
Hello, purdue512:
Point well taken. I agree, it's not always the name, but how a site is marketed that can make the real difference. In fact, if a site is being marketed well (as you have mentioned), the name is a minor factor.
However, it's one more thing that can be considered when a person is new and has the chance to make a choice.

Web Biz SEO Success Tip: What's In A Name?
Personally, I think the domain name thing is a little over-rated. I've seen sites with really bad names perform very well. I've seen good names go nowhere. It's helpful, but don't emphasize it too much... There are so many other factors.Posted 6th January 2009 at 09:51 AM by purdue512 -

HTML How-To: What Do I Know!
Hey, thanks, my Warrior friends, for commenting! I hear what you're saying about the WYSIWYG programs, but I'm one of those guys who likes to learn the basics of things so I have a bit of insight into how it works.
But I do agree that in this day and age of advanced technology, there's no reason why the average person can't just use WYSIWYG to get things done faster and easier.

HTML How-To: What Do I Know!
That's true. Even if I has been a geek since 1983, when I first used HTML, it was a challenge for me to get used to it!
Now, I prefer to do the templates in MS FrontPage and then manually change the code if needed.
Thanks!Posted 4th December 2008 at 04:50 PM by picus -
HTML How-To: What Do I Know!
Start to develop skills with WYSIWYG Programs (What You See Is What You Get) it makes it's simpler than writing the codes manually.Posted 4th December 2008 at 04:27 PM by Matty C -

Internet Advertising - Here's an idea!
Hi, David:
Thanks for the comment. There are many possibilities with catalogs for Internet and affiliate marketers ... but I see many, many possibilities for the clients you serve, too!
As a SEO, you might be able to find numerous ways to "inspire" your clients with the catalog idea ... and drum up some more services you can provide to them. Or enhance the services you already provide. Go for it, my friend!

Internet Advertising - Here's an idea!
hmm, I never thought of that!
I have a few local small businesses that I do seo for.
I *could* make an ebook for them, but then they'd tell me:
Why?
I can take what they usually use a printer for, say a catalog...
Thanks!!!
