Use a Sitemap to Improve Rankings

If you have website a sitemap is not likely to be a new concept to you. It is simply an extra page added to your web site that links to all other pages used to let a search engine know which pages are most relevant and important. The sitemap tells the search engine exactly where all of the pages are and identifies them so they can be crawled and indexed appropriately.

If you want to "dominate" the search engines, you need to have a sitemap on your website. It's not an option, but a choice.

As for having a normal sitemap (one that you create yourself) like the one I created on my affiliate marketing site at Affiliate Marketing Resources or having an xml sitemap that you create with google webmaster tools, it's up to you.

I do very well with my "hand made" sitemap and get top rankings for dozens of keywords... for...

Have you ever wondered how a search engine works? It must be fascinating figuring out how this search tool could direct you to several websites that are relevant to your keywords.
