It didn't take long for the site to be indexed: as of October 10, Christmas Gift Spot was indexed, and so far received 90 visits total, of which 36 are unique visitors and 12 visits came from this blog.

I submitted and article to EZA, but it's not live yet: hopefully today.

I haven't made up my mind yet, but I may change the theme (it now sports the Best Blogging Software theme) of this site and sell it on SitePoint in the next month or so.

This morning I sent a message to my lists, offering a free report in tune with the October month, and also offer an ebook at a half the regular price: http://www.busy-moms-online.com/reso...-for-moms.html

After I pushed the send button, I thought I'd check on my auto responder from one of the lists: it has about 500 subscribers, and 26 weekly messages.

WOW! I had quite a shock to find out that about 50% of the links in my messages were going to non...

I finally had time to install WP, customize the site a little bit, and upload my first article.

I still need to figure out how to change the color on the side navigation to something "Christmasy", and of course, add more content. I'll probably leave that for tomorrow: tonight I want o submit an article related to Christmas, so I can get some links pointing to the site and get it indexed.

I purchased 2 Christmas domains yesterday, and I am planning to go live in only a couple of days.

Here is what I am going to do:

- upload WordPress to both
- look for some PLR on my hard drive
- upload the ZipPoster: A Powerful Article Publishing Plugin for WordPress
- upload enough articles to post one a day until the end of the year
- create specific pages for Hot Christmas Toys
- do some social bookmarking
