There is a post on the Warrior Forum about someone choosing keywords that have at least 50 searches a day and less than 10,000 competition.

Does it matter if the competition is 100 or 100,000 to get on the 1st page of Google?

No - what matters in my view is the strength of those top 10 listing.

Between keyword with 10 PR8 competitors and 100,000 PR0 competitors, take the 100,000 every day!

Hi, I Just joined the WarRoom and decided to post here real fast. to say hello. I have been researching and learning about IM for about 2 years, and actually took the plunge in early 2009.

In early September I was laid off from my job, and I was determined to not go get "real job". I am now working full time. I don't make as much as I want to yet, and still don't outsource as much as I like, but I am working for my self.

If you really think that you can make money without doing any work You need to just quit right now.

Don’t waste any more of your time or energy, because you need to realize that if you want to compete with everybody else out there who’s earning money online you’ve got to put in at least enough effort to keep up.
