A few years ago there was a popular IM character called the Rich Jerk. It was a humorous way to sell a product by promoting oneself as a "Rich Jerk." But it was all in good fun with a cartoonish character, and while the Rich Jerk called others "losers," he was not an actual jerk and supplied good products.
