One of the core elements of email list building, is how to actually monetize that list. Most of the marketers just promote affiliate products, and make money that way. From my personal email list building experience, I`ve found that I get a bigger value per subscriber by promoting my own products, instead of affiliate products. And this is not that hard, as you will find further in this post. But very, very profitable.

Ok, now here is WHAT and HOW to do it.

You first need to create 3-4 products of your own, that you will be promoting to your list. These can be simple ebooks, that each solves one or a few problems of the people on your list. These ebooks can be just 10-15 pages long, but the thing is, they have to provide great value. Because when people buy your first product, and it is so valuable they feel like they could have paid more, they will easily buy another one from you - even a more expensive one than the first.

For each of these 3-4 ebooks, you will need a sales page, and a payments processor. Salespages can be simple HTML files, just make sure you tell clearly what they get from it, and why they need to purchase - a short list of benefits will do the work.
For the payment processor, you can get e-junkie.com, it is really simple to set up, and very cheap.

Then, you will need to add messages, promoting your ebooks, to your autoresponder. Make sure you do not promote anything more frequent than on every 4-5 message, as you don`t want people to unsubscribe.

Now, this set up part is what takes the most time.

Here is WHY your own products will make you more profits.

As I said, from my experience in many niches, my own products do a better business for me than any other products I sell as an affiliate. And there is a clear reason for that.

First, my own products are cheaper. I start with the low price of $14 for my first ebook, $19 or so for the next one, $27 the third one, and so on. When selling other people`s products, I could only make that much if the price per ebook was $30, $54, and so on, with the commission rate of 50%. So people would have to pay more, and less of them would buy.

Second, when I sell my own products, and I over deliver every time with my content, and have a good relationship with my list, people will buy MY stuff. Because they know my content is valuable, and worth the money.

Of course, I add a few affiliate products to my messages as well, But the conversions for them are far from the ones I get to my own products.

Sure, making the research, creating your own ebooks, building sales pages, adding them to email follow up messages, all that takes a lot of time. Smart marketers just outsource it, or get it all done at Niche Marketing Camp. This way they can get a new niche campaign set up an running on autopilot in just a few days, each making profits every month.

This is what makes my email list building efforts pay off big time. I hope this would help increase the bottom line of every Internet Marketer`s business.
