Protecting Our Affiliate Marketing Success

No matter how long or how successful we have been there comes a time when we start making rookie mistakes and have to find a way to protect our affiliate marketing success.

The faster that you move toward your affiliate marketing success, the more challenges seem to crop up along the path trying to stall your progress and send you careening off of the path.
These obstructions can come in the form of distractions, dealing with people you don't want to deal with, new products or ideas that just flat out don't work. It happens to all of us from time to time.
There are two ways that you can handle these times. One is preventative and other is proactive.
Preventative measures keep you from going through all of the trials and tribulations or at least keep them to a minimum while the proactive tactics can be thrown in when you are going through the fire so that you can regroup and get out of trouble faster.
Preventative measures that will bring you affiliate marketing success:
Establish a basic structure to your day. As entrepreneurs, who get to work from home, we tend to not want to hear that we need structure or set hours where we dedicates everything that we have to the business but it is an absolute necessity if you are going to reach your affiliate marketing success goals. You want to schedule that time so that you do the things that you need to do to move your business forward, make the most out of the time that you are giving to the business.
Focus. This seems to be a big problem for a lot of people. I even have trouble at times maintaining the level of focus that I need in order to achieve all of the things that I want to do with my life and my business. The good news is that the mental toughness that is needed for focus can be learned.
Clarity of purpose. Making a lot of money is not a purpose for your business. This should be something that really burns inside of you. It should be something that you can't tolerate failing at.
Now if you have fallen off the wagon and need to get back up, here are some proactive strategies that you can quickly put into place:
Reach out to people who support your affiliate marketing success. Get in touch with friends that are supportive, check in with a coach or a mentor. I know that within MOBE we have a coach assigned to us that we can turn to at any time for help with our business. I also have a business coach that I work with once a week and who is "on call" should I need him right away. You can get onto the Facebook groups for your business and get support from the people who are on there. What you want to do is find that person who will not just support you but will kick you in the butt and get you back on the path.

Stop and address the situation. Far too often we decide that we just don't want to confront the pain of whatever is distracting us from the business. We promise to take care of that financial problem, look at the taxes, spend more time with our family and then we stick our head back in the sand and ignore it all and hope that it will just go away. Meet the situation head on. Spend the time that you need to alleviate the problem so that you can move on with a clear head and a clear conscience.
As I said, we all go through making stupid mistakes at times When I do, I find that the best thing for me to do is to take some time for myself and recalibrate.
Make sure that you maintain a routine of personal and professional growth so that you are challenging yourself to grow consistently.
We all trip and fall at times, but we can get ourselves back on the path to affiliate marketing success by using preventative and proactive strategies.
