Affiliate Marketing Success By Playing Around

When did we decide affiliate marketing success, or any kind of success, was so important that we couldn't spend some time just goofing off?
I remember when I first got started in affiliate marketing I would see all of these posts on Facebook of people off doing all kinds of exciting things in exotic locations and I was so jealous. The snapshot of my life at the time was the inside of a transmission shop in El Paso, Texas. I wanted what they had so bad, I could taste it.
The reality is that we have to find some time that we can walk away from the stress of entrepreneurship and have some play time. We have to make it a priority to get out and do something that recharges our mind and our body.
One of the things that I hear from people who are on the trail of affiliate marketing success is that they are struggling to stay on top of things even though they are putting in 16-18 hour days 7 days a week.
I would be remiss if I told you that there are not going to be times when this type of schedule is not going to be demanded of you. For instance, when you are first starting out and you are getting everything set up and learning all of the skill sets that you need to have in order to be successful or when you are doing something different that is intended to take your business to the next higher level or when you are doing a product launch.
Most of us, also, have other demands being placed on our time. We have homes and families that need our attention as well as the business.
What you have got to find is that laser focus that will allow you to get the most out of the time that you do have to achieve your affiliate marketing success. Then, you will get everything accomplished and still be able to carve out some play time.
Surprise! Play time will get your affiliate marketing success faster.
This comes as a surprise to a lot of people but it is the truth. When you carve out some time to just go out and follow your passions, you will find that you will make more money and find more success. Why? Because you are more relaxed and you reconnect with your joy in life. This allows you to bring a lightness to your business that others will respond to. They are going to want more of what you have.
Come across to them as some stressed out troll and they are going to slough you off to the side. No one wants more of that in their life.
Now, let's look at those people who are showing you all of their vacation pics and allowing you to draw the conclusion that you can have success with little to no effort. I now know some of them and trust me, prior to the pics being taken they are putting a lot of time and effort into their business. Or, it's manufactured.
Manufacture your own happiness. Get outside and have some fun. Breathe some fresh air and let your mind contemplate something other than business for a while. You'll come at the challenges with a fresher outlook.
Find something that challenges you. Look for things that tax your body, make you sweat, get your heart pumping. Oh, and pick something that will give you a mental challenge. I do weight lifting every morning. It get the endorphins going and I find that I move through my day less stressed out and more creatively.
Find a hobby that excites you. Want to try being a stand up comedian, shoot for it. My coach does mountain biking and loves it. I like to get outside on the weekends and spend time in the garden because it relaxes me.
Do something that inspires you, go to a concert, sit by a flowing river, visit a museum.
The idea is to find something that you can do for 30-60 minutes a day that is just pure joy for you to do. Find something that gives you the escape from business, money and all of the other responsibilities that surround you. Your affiliate marketing success is not going to be hampered in any way by you doing this.
If you honor yourself, others will honor you. You'll find that by taking time away from everything will give you more energy which will allow you to lead more people to the peak of their success.
Take care of yourself because no one else is going to do it for you. Every day give yourself a "passion vacay" where you just do something that makes you feel good.
Don't take this advice and you will find that you fall victim to stress, burn out and start making excuses as to why you cannot achieve your affiliate marketing success.
Give yourself permission to just goof off. Fall in love with life and the affiliate marketing success that you want is going to come to you faster than you ever thought possible.
