Marketing success has nothing to do with the mechanics of branding and everything to do with the truth behind your brand.





"Your brand is your truth." My world changed with those 5 words, spoken by my coach.


I, like many others who are seeking affiliate marketing success, was spending all kinds of time with finding the right colors, the right logo and the right tag line that was going to insure the results that I wanted.


Starting the Branding Process

He gave me a set of questions and told me to spend the next week answering them; then, we would talk.


What is it that I want people to get from what I am doing?


Where does this connect with my core?


Given the facts of my life up to this point, I knew that I wanted to do something that would help other women reclaim their power and their voices so that they could change their world the way that I was changing mine. I wanted them to feel empowered. I wanted to make sure that they understood that it was the journey and not the destination that mattered.


That was what the book I was writing was about and that was what every part of my being was telling me that I needed to do with my life.


I had accumulated all of the scars you can imagine by walking through the fires I created in my life. I knew that I had to use the wisdom that I had gained from all of it, the rape, the drugs, the deaths, the abuse and I had to help others avoid or mitigate those traumatizing scars.


This was my truth and this became the brand that brought me the marketing success that I needed in order to fund all of the other things that I wanted to do in order to achieve my purpose.


Your Tag Line and Marketing Success

Your tag line in your marketing has got to reflect your truth in a short, concise manner.
I have still not been given mine. JT assured me that when I least expected it, it would come blasting into my mind like an emotional whirlwind. I just had to stay connected to the truth of me.


When you do get your tag line, you want to make sure that you protect it and defend it at all costs. Trademark the name. Defend it with all of your mental and emotional prowess.


Your Marketing Success Depends On Your Brand

This world is in desperate need of leadership. When you start to live your truth, you assure your marketing success because people are going to be attracted to your strength of conviction and to you.


You want to make sure that you put yourself into everything that you put out. Your website has to contain your truth. Your emails have got to have you and your purpose screaming through them so that people know who they are connecting with.


Your marketing success is representative of your core values and what you stand for. Once this is in place your brand will begin to define itself.
