One of the first things that I learned about the successful women in network marketing is that they don't go for the quick fix or immediate gratification, they systematically learn about their field and move in a manner that is helpful to themselves and to others.
In my offline business, I am often asked why I chose the location that I was in as it was not the most convenient one for a lot of people in the El Paso area. I glibly told them that I had just forgotten to go to the class that talked about location while I was in school. The reality was that we don't just work with the people of the town. We, also, do a great deal of work for outlying cities and if you looked at all of them, we were pretty much dead center.
I quickly came to realize that if people were going to be having to go the distance required to get to us, we were going to have to be the very best. Over the years we have been acknowledged as the go to place for transmission work within our local area and people do make the trip required to get to us even though they pass several other shops along the way.
Successful women in network marketing think very much the same way. They realize that they have got to get people to move past the gurus and the celebrity names to them. They have to make sure that people know that convenience is not always the answer.
