HELP I Have Writer's Block
Posted 21st April 2015 at 02:37 PM by bobandnanci
I am in the process of writing my first book, Journey Before Destination, and there are times that I whine to my coach about having writer's block.

Fortunately, my coach is JT Debolt and he has already written two best sellers in the nonfiction area.
Here's the system that he gave me to help me to get over my writers block and back on the path of successfully finishing my book.
I share this with you because if you are pursuing affiliate marketing success you have to have a way to get your message out to the world. This could be through blogging or even writing a script for a video that you want to do.
The system is called HELP + 1
H - is for happiness
This doesn't mean that you have to write when you are bouncing around and jumping for joy.
Get out of the room. Get away from the computer. Go out and do something that makes you happy, ride a bike, go for a run, go shopping.
When you are out and doing something that brings you happiness you open the gateway to your inner genius. By doing this, you allow the most authentic part of you to flow into ideas that you can use on your writing project.
E - experiences
There is no way that you have made out of the hospital from your birth that you have not accumulated experiences. We've all been around the block, some of us more than others. You can draw on these to help you overcome that writer's block that you may be experiencing.
Here are some ideas: trips, relationships, career, school. All of them will provide you the fodder that you need in order to get your message out to people. People like to know that others may have experienced the same things that they have gone through and have overcome them or learned from them.
We have a habit, especially when we are new to affiliate marketing, to devalue our experiences by paying too close attention to social media and what the top earners are doing. For get about them.
Your experiences show who you are at the core. They differentiate you from everybody else out there.
L- locations
All of us have places that really inspire us. As a desert rat, I like to look out at the ocean. Just be present and let all of the worries about things go and experience the ebb and flow. I, also, have a creek that my Dad used to take us to as children that I like to go to and listen to the water flowing over the rocks.
The flow of the water seems to allow the flow of ideas, without the censorship that I tend to do when I am at home with fingers on the keyboard and staring at the blank page in front of me.
P - people can end writer's block
Build a core group of people around you that you can bounce ideas off of without worrying about what they are going to think about you.
Invest in them and fuel the relationship that you have with them and they will gladly be there to act as your muse.
Look at people that are beyond you right now and draw inspiration from them and their accomplishments, people like Richard Branson or Donald Trump. Use parts of their stories, but, make sure that you give them credit, it's only fair for considering that they are helping you ram through your writer's block.
+1
Get inspired by music, movies, books, dance, art, sports and use the lessons that you learn from them:
