Retaining Sanity in Affiliate Marketing

Retaining your sanity is often a challenge when you are striving for success in affiliate marketing.





Or, at least for me, it seems that keeping my sanity in check while going for affiliate marketing success is sometimes one of my biggest challenges.


There are skill sets that you have to learn: driving traffic, converting leads into sales, how to market, social media marketing, ppc, etc. etc. There is the mindset of success that you have to constantly possess so that you come across to people as a leader. At the end of some days I can be found sitting on the floor, rocking back and forth and actually looking forward to sitting in that nice little padded room.


And, then, my coach stepped in and told me that I could take my affiliate marketing business to whatever level I wanted to and that I could easily do it within [Moderator Note. Please read the rules.] but I was going to have to understand one thing, we are not here to hold hands, we are here to serve and there is a difference.

MOVE ON

Once you are really clear on the vision that you have for your affiliate marketing success, you need to keep rolling toward it no matter what.
Walk through the challenges with your head held high and your eyes focused on the goal.


SO WHAT

There is absolutely nothing that you can do other than to bring the best that you have got every day to your business.


Unless the other person is open to taking the suggestions that you make and taking action on them, there is nothing that you can do to help them. It is totally up to them to make the changes that will bring them success in their affiliate marketing business. You have zero control and can only offer choices and provide possibilities that can lead to a solution, if they put in the work.


Now, in your best Frozen voice, "Let it gooooooooo".


SOME WON'T

Okay, most won't. You are going to have all kinds of people that are more than willing to talk a big game but there is no way that they are going to join you in your affiliate marketing business because then they would have to put their money where their mouth is.


They key is to not take their "no" personally. Their answer is a reflection of where they are at in their lives.


All you can do is give people options. It is their responsibility to make the decision to move forward or stay where they are.
If they say no, then they aren't "your people".


SOME WILL

These are the people that you want to focus on and give 100% of yourself to. Your world revolves around them.


But, don't fool yourself, some of them are going to drop off the face of the earth, too and blame you for their failure.


Others will take on the challenge knowing that their affiliate marketing success rests solely on their shoulders and they are going to do the hustle and make it happen. Remember them.


These are the ones that give you the opportunity to do your thing.


You can have affiliate marketing success and your sanity if you focus on those champions that are willing to take up the challenge and run with it rather than on worrying about those that are looking for a free ride.
