I listen to dreamers every day of my life. I listen to their wishes and wants, their dreams and desires.

I listen, and then I listen some more.
Some of the people in this group have some outlandish expectations, and some of them seem to sell themselves short. But none of them have goals, or dreams, that are unattainable.

Not one single person.

See, I am a huge believer in simply changing the way you think about your life, your direction, and your purpose, in order to change your life for the positive.

What I see in the people that I consult with is that each and every one of these complex and intelligent individuals has what it takes to make the right change when it comes to their careers.

I see people with creative solutions to complicated issues. I see pragmatic thinking in high stress situations. I also see a multitude of special skills that aren't being maximized, or used at all.

Through this 'information gathering' I’ve come up with a list of seven core signals that it is time you considered escaping employee land and going into business for yourself. It isn't as scary, or difficult, as you may have thought.

1) In high tension, you focus on finding a solution to the issue instead of the cause of the dilemma

Results driven individuals are natural problem solvers. Solutions produce results. If you fancy yourself someone who likes to push forward and not live in the past, it may be time for you to start your own business.

2) Your solutions are authentic, unique, progressive, even state-of-the-art

I find that solution oriented individuals come up with distinct ways to achieve their desired end result. These types of individuals are creative by nature and utilize their unique ‘selling’ proposition effectively.

3) You are bored to tears and are unchallenged by your daily tasks

This is really your gut telling you that your purpose is unfulfilled. Trust your gut, and your intuition. It will never lie to you. If you aren’t stimulated in your current position and/or feel unchallenged in your role, it’s time to get inventive.

4) People follow your lead not because of your title, but because of your integrity, morals, & ethics

Natural leaders will always have followers. If a person’s admiration for you comes from a place of trust and respect and not from fear and intimidation, you would make a great entrepreneur.

5) You won’t take no for an answer

This is more like not settling for second best. The people that make great solopreneurs always strive to get better. This means turning lots of no’s into yesses, and lots of speculators into believers.

6) You’re comfortable around both large swaths of people and the silence of your own self

When the time comes, they are quite capable of managing large groups of people with ease, and can also adapt to working alone for large periods of time. It’s time to strongly consider going into business for yourself if you can handle both ends of this spectrum.

7) You have a burning desire to become the real you

You may be challenged in your current position, and it still may not fill that void your subconscious keeps thrusting into your forefront. That desire is speaking to you, and it may be telling you that it’s time for a change.

If any one of these seven resonate in your heart, it might be time for a change. The key is to overcome your fears and try and accept that change is inevitable. The only thing holding you back from choosing the career path that you are destined for is you.

I see people every day who want to overcome their fears, change their careers and better their lives, and then I put them on an action plan to make it happen. I’ve seen many success stories, and I will see many more. Some of these successes could be you – and these people, myself included, aren’t special or better equipped to handle any of this. We simply changed our minds.

And when we changed our minds, a funny thing happened on the way to success.

We changed our lives.
