Becoming a Blogger
Posted 30th January 2009 at 08:26 AM by cclou
Late Nov 2008, my husband was searching for domain names (one of his favorite activities), and stumbled across one that was quite good. We decided to buy it, though we had no plans for it (I know that's dangerous, but I have under 30 domains and all but one are at least somewhat developed, so I haven't become too carried away!).
I had won five unique articles from a contest, so I had the person write about this topic. The result was decent, so I put up the articles, and then forgot about the site until now.
I've never blogged before. Which is kind of funny, since I kept a journal all through high school and college, so it seems perfect.
Well, I've decided to focus my efforts on this blog for awhile. Focus is one of my problems as an internet marketer. I enjoy doing lots of things, so while I'm happy with my three figure/a month income (I started internet marketing in October), I know it will never give me the financial independence I desire until I buckle down and put most of my efforts into one thing (I'll still do other things, so I don't burn out, but I'm going to prioritize my time).
So, I'm using wordpress. I found a theme I like, and have planned the next fifteen things I want to write about.
Today is day one. The blog is updated. Now I'm going to search the WF for some good plug in recommendations.
