Can You Use Attraction Marketing in an Online Business?

If you've never heard of attraction marketing before, here's the main concept: Attraction marketing is all about becoming "the hunted" instead of "the hunter".
This strategy can be used with any type of business, whether it's a home base business, a brick and mortar business, and an online business. Do you ever wonder how some online marketers are making alot of money, while the vast majority are going broke in the internet? A major reason is because they do not understand the concept of attraction marketing.
In any case, for the purpose of this discussion I will use an internet network marketing business as an example on how to effectively use the principles of attratcion marketing. For a network marketing business operating via internet, getting leads and prospects to become new distributors is very crucial. But it doesn’t mean that you have to be desperate and chase people just to get them buy into your business. Instead of pursuing potential prospects, you can actually be a magnet to them by adopting the principles of attraction marketing.
Basically, attraction marketing works by providing value to your prospects by being a great source of information and training. This way, your future customers and distributors will know you better, know what you are doing and the benefits to them by working with you or buying your products before they decide to do business with you.
Since a lot of network marketers are now using the power of the internet to market online, the challenge now is to convince a prospect to choose you over the hundreds of thousands of internet network marketers out there.
So, here’s three specific tips to succeed by using attraction marketing:
Attraction Marketing Tip No. 1 – BE A LEADER
What does being a leader mean? Well, to get people to pursue you, you have to be the person that they’re looking for. And what are they actually looking for?
People searching online are looking for a leader that they can trust to solve their problems. These prospects have problems and they’re looking for a leader who has the solutions to them whether it be an opportunity to make more money online for a secondary income, a product that can improve their health, a tool that they can use to become more effective internet marketers, etc. So you don’t have to “sell” them, but just lead them to a solution that will best solve whatever problem they have.
I mean, that's pretty much the basics of selling right? Whether it's online or offline. If there’s no problem to solve, there’s really no sale to be made.
So start by identifying what frustrates them... or even what really bothering them and keeping them up at night. Through your own knowledge and experience, you can advise them on how to solve their frustrations, and educate them on why your solution is best for them.
This simple process puts you in a position of authority in the eyes of your prospect. Your prospects will get to know you first… and later they will most likely be interested in your business opportunity or product later. Here’s the bottom line… the more your prospects trust and like you, the more likely they will buy and do business with you.
