If you have read the About Us page or the first blog post I made here you will have read that I have been making money online for more than 10 years in several niches.
Up until the last month I have not focused on the make money online niche.
I will share with you in another post why I decided to start working in the make money online niche.
For now though I want to share with you some insight into one of my successful online businesses.
It is in the learn to paint niche.
You see … one of my passions in life is painting.
No not houses and fences … you know like Monet, Turner and Van Gogh … that type of painting.
Not that I am in their league but its something I love to do.
So I have a website where I sell a range of online how to paint courses.
I also have a continuity program where members every month get a DVD (yes a physical DVD in the post) that shows them a painting project.
And I have a high dollar value (at least in this niche) program helping many of them become Art Instructors themselves.
Its a passion and the business makes a good amount of money.
But here is the point of this article … and some insight into how I achieved some level of success in this niche.
And let me point out its not because I am a great artist because I really am not … there are tens of thousands of better artists out there by miles.
No the real reason I have had some success in this niche is because of the law of compounding efforts.
It’s something that beginners trying to make money online completely miss.
Everyone gets online wanting to make fast money.
They look for the magic bullet.
The missing Google trick to rank a site that makes them a fortune.
The latest software were they push a button and extracts money out of the accounts of people and deposits it right into their account …
etc etc.
So they buy one useless program and product after another … and never get anywhere.
My advice … if this is where you find yourself right now … stop everything!
The only way you can build a successful online business and make money online is to use the law of compounding efforts.
And this brings me back to my learn to paint niche …
… and the title of this post 99,349 You Tube Views.
99,349 You Tube Views … that’s how many views there have been on my Learn To Paint You Tube channel.

All these people watching my little videos and then going over to my lead capture page (squeeze page) and bam … they go into my database and I get to sell them my online courses, DVD’s etc.
That’s how you make money online.
Now here is where the law of compounding efforts applies.
Do you think when I uploaded that very first video that anyone was interested?
Do you think I had any views, likes, comments or shares?
Do you think there was any subscribers?
No of course not … when I started there were exactly …
… Zero Videos
… Zero Views
… Zero Likes
… Zero Comments
… Zero Shares
… Zero Subscribers
Do you get what I am saying here?
When I started I started at where you are probably right now … GROUND ZERO!
But what I did that seperated me from the masses, and the reason I am financially free today, is I started from GROUND ZERO and I applied the law of compounding efforts to my business.
I kept on recording videos and adding them.
I kept on uploading videos and trying to figure out how to get them ranking.
I kept on driving traffic etc.
And it started slowly.
It build up over time.
At first I made no money.
At first no one subscribed to my email list.
But gradually slowly but surely it started to work.
People started to be attracted to the videos.
People started to enter the database.
People started to buy the courses and DVD’s.
And slowly but surely the money started to come.
And the more work I did … the more the law of compounding efforts applied.
The more it started to gather momentum.
The more word spread and traffic flowed and money started to come in.
Just in the last couple of days $437 came in to my accounts on autopilot.
Okay … so not the thousands of dollars you hear of from some gurus.
But lets be real … when have you ever made thousands each day?
But a few hundred each day … now that is achievable for you if you do two things:
1/ Follow a Proven SYSTEM - at the back of my learn to paint business is a proven simple system.
2/ Apply the law of compounding efforts – keep working at it consistently over time until momentum starts
If you are serious about making money online it is time to stop chasing miracle money making rubbish.
It’s time to stop thinking every email in your inbox from the latest overnight guru will make you rich.
It’s time to start focusing on one simple SYSTEM that is proven to work.
And just keep working at it over time applying the law of compounding efforts.
