The other day I had an email from someone who purchased the WSO …

“Easy $990 Video Marketing Service”

The email was one of frustration!

The sender was clearly upset …

… and was desperately seeking help.

Her question … and maybe this is your question was along the lines of …

‘How on earth do you sell Offline Consulting Services?’

The writer went on to explain they had purchased every WSO on Offline Consulting, had all the tools, knowledge, strategies etc

But the one thing that was missing was clients!

I wrote back explaining that most of what you will have read in WSO’s about Offline Consulting is unfortunately a load of B.S.

Clearly they are created by Internet Marketers who have never sold Offline Consulting to real business owners.

Sorry but that is the cold hard truth.

The reality is that running a successful Consulting business takes work, effort and the right strategy.

At the end of the day selling your consulting services to small business owners comes down to two things … return on investment and certainty.

When I am chatting with prospects initially I get their focus onto how many clients would then need to get for my service to be free.

The type of clients I like to work with this is usually 1 or 2 clients.

The other aspect is certainty …

… they need to feel a sense of certainty that you can do the job you say you are going to.

How do you create that?

Well it is everything you do …

* How you find and approach the client

* Your website (most offline consultants are kidding themselves as their websites just simply do not reflect someone who knows anything about online marketing)

* How you schedule the initial appointment with them

* How you conduct the initial appointment (if you come on too heavy with sales pressure you turn them away)

* The questions you ask them

* How you follow up

* The proposal you send to them etc etc

… all the small things all adds up to a level of comfort or certainty they feel.

When the certainty level is high enough and they can clearly see how to get ROI …

… Well that is how you sell Offline Consulting!

The one thing small business pays for is not:

- Website Design
- SEO
- Video Marketing
- Social Media

To them it all sounds like … blah blah blah

White noise.

What do they pay for?

More customers, more clients, more money in the bank!

If you want to attract them you need all of your marketing to be focused on this.
