How To Attract Offline / Local Clients

I hope your Offline Consulting business is going great and you are getting plenty of clients.

Personally I believe there has never been a better time to be an Offline Consultant.

I will tell you why in a future email.

For now I want to share with you two case studies.

And the one thing they have in common.

And why you should pay ATTENTION and apply this one thing into your business.

Why?

Because it answers the question I get all the time …

‘How Do I Attract Offline / Local Clients?’

Let me share these case studies of the two new clients I picked up this week:

Case Study 1 – Flooring Specialist

The first case study is a flooring specialist.

He just signed up for:

$4,500 Website Design plus
$997 Video Marketing Monthly

Over the next six months he will be worth approximately $10,482

How did I find him as a client?

I didn’t … he found me.

He searched online for a local website design company.

Guess who dominated the search results?



I spend a lot of time making sure I am getting found at top of search results.

Case Study 2 – Property Investment Advisor

This one was interesting.

I just installed a pop up thingo that enables visitors to my site to schedule a 15 minute phone consultation.

Was testing it out.

And wham … somebody visits my site and fills in form. Spoke with him a few days ago on phone and we are catching up for coffee tommorrow.

Will sign him up for:

$5,000 Website design
$997 month SEO & Video Marketing

When I had him on phone I asked him how he heard about us.

Guess what he said?

I just watched one of your videos on You Tube.

He liked what he heard / saw in video.

Came across to our website.

Poked around and then the pop thingo popped up and asked him if he wanted to schedule a time to chat.

Step by step system … right?

All in all not a bad week BUT I am not telling you this to tell you how great I am going.

Far from it …

… The real point is this …

How I get most of my clients, ready for this?

I use my own services!

There you go … simple really

I use my own services:

* Website Design to make sure my website converts visitors into qualified leads

* SEO to make sure I am found at top of search

* Video Marketing to ATTRACT qualified prospects

etc etc

I use my own services and build what I like to call MARKETING ASSETS.

- Master SEO and get yourself ranked at top in your area for your services
- Create Compelling VIDOES and rank the living daylights out of them

Focus on developing marketing assets that start to get the attention of your target market.

Because the best clients to convince about your Offline Consulting services are the ones who found you through your own marketing of your own services.

Makes sense right?

I have to tell you … this is so easy to do its scary. Easy to do but it takes some work.

In my area for example I am the only web designer with Google Authorship in use. Can you believe that?

The rest either can’t be bothered … or they just don’t know about it. WTF?

Do you think that makes me stand out?

Damn right it does … and you can do it too.

It does not take much to be better than all the other Offline Consultants.

Most are not prepared to put the effort in to develop a successful six figure plus business.

You want to be the one who puts in a bit more effort, uses your own services to market yourself, and stand out from the crowd.

There is more clients out there than you can ever possibly deal with.

It’s not a lack of clients.

It’s always a lack of our own ability to attract them.

However if you use your services to build MARKETING ASSETS that work 24 / 7 once built.

And get enough of these marketing assets out into the world …

You will start attracting leads that convert into clients.

In the past I used to coach small business owners on their marketing strategy.

Clients would pay me $5,000 – $20,000 for coaching … but I have not taken on any clients in 2 1/2 years.

I am considering taking on 5 Offline Consultants to teach them everything I am doing and replicate the success I am having.

The investment would be much less than what I used to charge. This would only suit those serious about their Offline Consulting business.
