What to do when you are cold calling.

A trick I use is to endevour to make the first few calls and then I usually loosen up, remember the only thing stopping you is fear.

Once you are one the phone you will lose your fear, your confidence will grow and you will be on your way.

Another trick is try to understand how your words are impacting the other person, if your words are coming across silly then why should that person take you seriously, consider how each word impacts the person, make sure that your sentence is part of your message, the slightest word that is out of place acts as a misstep in your message and it will not be received well.

Another trick I use is to see how many of the same objections I can come across because it then becomes easier for me to create rebuttals to overcome those objections.

The less objections the close you are to a sale.

I hope some of these steps get you closer to your sale.

remember its just a piece of plastic, if someone tells you to **** off or hangs up move onto the next one.

The bigger move would be to call them back to see their reaction, you cant imagine how many deals I have closed like this because the person is so astounded that I would call back which disarms them and allows them to listen to my offering.
