From Random Sales To Self Employed... In One Month
Posted 25th July 2009 at 03:05 PM by sbp8610
Today is July 25, 2009, and there are exactly 38 days until September 1st.
What would you do if you knew that you could be making enough money online to be self employed in only 38 days? Would that motivate you to stop procrastinating and get to work? It's what I'm going to do.
I currently have a website that I know converts, but the problem for me is doing actual work and writing articles to get traffic instead of wasting time on forums (like I am now
), procrastinating, and switching between campaigns to often. So here is my situation and goal.
I know that if I were to submit 10 articles per day to ezine and then also to 3 or 4 other directories (including my blog) that I would obviously begin to build lots of traffic. I could then take my highest traffic articles and do some backlinking to help them stay high in google for a while. But the bottom line is that I would be putting out about 30-40 articles per day, each and every day, so my traffic would skyrocket.
With traffic of over 100 visitors per day I'm pretty sure I could make about one sale per day, which would equal to about $80 per day in my pocket. But with so many articles being put out per day, I can see myself having much more traffic, probably a few hundered visitors each day, by September 1st, meaning more than 1 sale per day.
I am only 19 and still live at home with my parents, and I only bring in about $200 per week, so $80 per day through the internet would be more than enough to become self employed.
With everything planned out it seems so easy to be self employed in such a short time, so I'm deciding to take action and see if I can do it!
If anyone wants to track my progress then I'll continue to update this thread accordingly, hopefully this can be a great motivation to anyone struggling with this business.
Wish me luck!
