Welcome to a very large and miserable club!! Sorry, I know how you feel. My only suggestion that works, is second jobs. Working in the evening, dealing with creditors head on to see if they will settle, so you don't have to pay minimum balance and watch what you owe increase monthly.

Another tip is to discover "found" money, meaning spend less and less and less. Stretch groceries, watch movies at home, lessen electricity by unplugging and taking out light bulbs not necessary, up the temp in the house to 78 and utilize fans, eat leftovers and potluck gatherings with friends, plan errand trips in the car and drive less. Then, you should find about $100 or even more a month in your pocket. Almost everyone can cut what they're doing and "find" money from existing paychecks.

Can you utilize Angel Ministries online in your area for grocery savings? The basic difference with them is you pay $30 in advance, arrange a pick up time, and get about $90 worth of food. No questions asked, no limit, just order all you need upfront so they can have your boxes packed. They put their own selection of very quality food in each $30 box and you can order an extra box of meat for $21. Follow this link.

Can you utilize help from local agencies for low cost or free school supplies and lower cost school lunches for your child? Be proactive and call the school, it's confidential. They will have agencies you can contact.

Can you budget clothing from discount stores or visit local garage sales? In today's economy, our children need to understand the need to economize and "re-cycle!"

Can anyone else in your family work besides you? Brainstorm things you can sell at your own garage sale; we recently sold $700 worth of things we don't even miss.

Can you collaborate with a friend, and prepare full meals on wheels for your friends and neighbors that they would appreciate and pay a few bucks per plate? Are you a baker or cookie maker? Could you sell bags and loaves of bread now for freezing for the holidays or just busy career people?

Think outside the box or inside the wallet, or however you want to put it.

Good luck!!! Hope this helps a bit. Let me know!
