Day 6 Results
My 7th article was submitted today. I took one of my past blog posts and rewrote it. BTW, this is a great way to write an article when you can't think of what to write about. Just find an old blog post that you like and rework it so it's less personal and more like an article.

I've checked the rankings for my articles with Google and I'm mad at myself. Apparently I lied about having my keywords in the articles because only two of the articles landed on page one, each for only one longtail keyword. And one of those was really reaching.
My lesson learned - take the time to do the keyword research beforehand (like I used to do) or don't waste your time writing the articles.

Peggy, this is where I have fallen short in the past too - but those keywords are so important! Namely becauase no one will find the darn article if you're just blathering on randomly, unless it's really interesting blather, maybe one or two readers will find it. LOL
Great idea about rewriting a blog post too, I need to do that! Even older articles that could be shined up and repurposed.
Keep it going! :-)
