This morning I went for a run. The run lasted about an hour and a half. My wife took her car key with her and I was left with my wife's keyless car. Soooo, I thought I'd take the run from midwilshire to venice beach. If you don't know LA the you have no idea of the distance. It is about 10 miles. So I was out the door at 6;10 and got to my wifes pilate studio by 7:20.

I am really not a runner. That's my brother he is the marathon guy. But I had a cold and I couldn't sleep so I thought I'd throw some shots and t shirt on and go.

Do you ever feel like you just need to run. I was feeling like if I run long and fast enough my cold would go away.

Does anyone else ever feel that way. I just couldn't sit anymore and let it take me over.I was determined to take it over.
After the first 4 miles I was feeling like I was winning. I was going to out run my cold.
At 7 miles it was more then evident that I had a flu but was still pushing on. My body ached, head ached, my nose was running. I kept going. I got to about 9 miles and I was having some knee pain. I thought come on your almost there, why stop? So I didn't.
I made it to my wifes pilates studio and felt a sense of accomplishment. My wife just thought I was stupid.
Now under normal circumstances I would say that best to take a run when you are healthy but, I needed that control. I needed to push myself to feel a sense of doing something impromptu and self empowering.
We should always challenge ourselves and step out of our comfort zone. I am amazed by what we can do wjen we do it. All it takes is the intention and thwen living that intention.

In business, or starting a new business takes that 10 mile run. Yeah it sucks sometimes but while you are doing it the farther along you get the great that sense of accomlishment gets. Keep motivating youself and applaud yourself for the little goals you succeed at while you are working toward the finish line.

Thanks for listening and enjoy your holiday!!
