Automatic Screen Shot Software

As my fellow SAC members know, we are all going to have to take a lot of screen shots for our "homework" coming up soon, and I already know how much time it takes to do it my way, which is to hit
"Print Screen" then open Photoshop, new file, paste it, save for web, and so on.
Well, with the number of screenshots I will need to take this would just waste so much time it's nuts, so I Googled for an automatic solution and found one.

That link is the page for the free, open-source, SourceForge software that lets you take a screenshot and it automatically saves it to whatever folder you want, and names it with whatever naming structure you define in the settings.
So, what would take me 20-30 seconds per screenshot, now takes one second per screenshot.
Pretty cool right? Just thought I would share. Will make my life easier and my time more efficient.

Fab - you found something.
Are you taking screenshots instead of capturing URLs? I can see that screenshots would be quicker - but we need the URLs later on for pinging and bookmarking.Posted 20th March 2010 at 02:59 AM by Mrs S

If you look closer at the guide, we need to keep our URL's AND take screen shots of some things, such as PM's to people on forums. For example, in one week they say to PM 50 people on a forum and take a screen shot of every PM to every person.... and that is just one example where we have to take screenshots and email them to the homework email.Posted 20th March 2010 at 05:55 AM by Marakatapolis
