My Best Outsourcing Tip Ever

We are constantly looking for talent. It's really tough finding people who are smart and motivated, ready to take action and kick butt.
Often, we have to spend a lot of money to figure out if someone can do the work. It also takes a little time to establish a rhythm and build up trust. This can mean wasted effort and wasted time.
You can work with a relative to get the job done. You know them and can usually trust them. However, the compensation can get tricky. The last thing you need is bad blood from business gone wrong. I tend to avoid working with family, except for my brother.
So, what can be done?
My best outsourcing tip is to attend conferences, seminars, and other events. Not only can you quickly judge a person face to face, you get an opportunity to talk to a person and establish a rapport. The eye contact and body language tell a story that is easy to understand.
We recently spoke at a conference. One of the biggest benefits was finding someone to handle our pay per click work. That's something that we don't like much. The person we hired loves that kind of work and will benefit financially by working with us. Really, everyone wins which is just the way that I like it.
So, to summarize, I encourage you to spend time with people in the real world if you want to find virtual workers. This is the best shortcut to outsourcing success.
