I'm new to this, does anyone have any good tips for me?? it took me forever to figure out how to even post anything.

One of the best tips you can get is to take yourself up to the rules section and read them.
That way, you might just understand why this blog posting got deleted.
It's on my "todo" list, might be today or might be never, but it's on the list.
Go read the rules and then move on from there.
